Lesson: Romans 5:1-11
Prayer: Dear God,
Thank you for this day, thank you for these people, thank you for this opportunity. Be with us this week as we begin to get tired. Be with us as the work gets harder and the days get longer. Be with the people of Bayou La Batre and all those who are suffering, give them hope and comfort that thanks to Jesus’ suffering on the cross, we and they will no longer have to.
                     Amen

Students worked at Lutheran Disaster Relief again today, getting their yard in shape. HOT HOT HOT

A group went back to Ms. Fannie May Payton's house. They cleared and cleaned the kitchen and it is now usable! Ms. Fannie shared their afternoon snack and told her stories. She gave the students advice and hugs.

Another group went to Mr. Jack's house. It is over 100 years old and Mr. Jack was born there. The students learned how to cut and install drywall and also did outside yard work.

We saw God in all these places.
