Children
St. Stephen Lutheran Church is dedicated to raising households alive in a resurrection faith. Therefore, we hold Sunday Morning Faith Formation classes for ALL ages from 9:30 – 10:30 and 10:45 – 11:45 during the regular school year. The participants learn through hands-on activities, prayers, games, lessons, and discussions. At St. Stephen we focus on faith in the family and encourage our students and parents to bring their lessons home and continue the learning every day by participating in the Faith 5: sharing highs and lows, reading scripture, talking about the lessons, pray together, and offer blessings to each other! Milestone Ministry
One way that St. Stephen seeks to equip households is by celebrating milestones with families. Each milestone includes 2 parts: family discussion and celebration in worship. Some of the milestones we celebrate annually include: Open Communion, First Bibles, First time to summer camp, and more.
Special Events
We believe that being a disciple of Christ should be fun and exciting and we don't want that to end after Sunday morning. So we hold special events throughout the year to keep the energy high and allow our students and families to build in their relationships with each other. Our events are open to all those who would like to share in our community of Christ, so "Bring a Friend!" Our special events include:
- Rally Sunday (Sunday school Kick-off)
- Sunset Cinema at Cranes Roost Park presented by St. Stephen
- Trunk or Treat
- Christmas Ornament Workshop
- Easter Egg Hunt
- Vacation Bible School
- Music Camp
